This policy explains what information Kitabi Corner Digital Services Private Limited (“Kitabi Corner”, “we”) collects when you use our website and app, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your mobile number and name.
  • Booking details: the library, seat, shift, dates, plan and amount of each booking.
  • Payment details: payments are handled by our payment partner. We receive a payment reference and status. We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank passwords.
  • Library owner enquiries: name, mobile number, library name, city and any message you send us.
  • Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working.

2. Why we use it

  • To log you in with a one-time code sent to your mobile.
  • To make, show and manage your bookings.
  • To share your name, mobile number and booking with the library you booked, so they can let you in.
  • To send booking updates and answer your questions.
  • To stop fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax requirements.

3. Who we share it with

  • The library you book with.
  • Service providers who help us run the platform (payments, SMS, hosting), only for that work.
  • Government or legal authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account and booking records while your account is active and as long as needed for accounts, tax and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your account; we will remove what we are not required to keep.

5. Your choices

  • You can see and edit your name in “My bookings”.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secure servers to protect your data. No system is perfect, so please also keep your phone and login codes private.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
