Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use the Kitabi Corner website or app (the “Platform”), run by Kitabi Corner Digital Services Private Limited (“Kitabi Corner”, “we”, “us”). By using the Platform or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. What Kitabi Corner does

Kitabi Corner is a booking platform. We list study libraries run by independent owners (“Libraries”) and let students book a seat for a shift and a plan (for example a day, a week or a month). The Library provides the seat and the study space. Kitabi Corner provides the booking and payment service.

2. Your account

• You log in with your mobile number and a one-time code (OTP). Keep your phone and codes private.
• Give your real name. The Library sees your name and mobile number on your booking.
• You are responsible for all bookings made from your account.

3. Bookings and prices

• The Library sets its own seat prices, shifts and plans.
• A Kitabi Corner booking fee and GST on that fee may be added. The full amount is shown before you pay.
• A booking is confirmed only after payment is successful. You will see a booking code.
• While you pay, the seat is held for a few minutes. If payment is not finished in time, the hold ends and the seat is released.
• Show your booking code at the Library desk when asked.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Bookings are non-refundable once paid. Please read our cancellation and refund policy for the cases where we may help.

5. Library rules

Each Library has its own rules (silence, ID, timings, belongings, food). You must follow them. A Library may refuse entry or ask you to leave for misconduct; in that case no refund is due.

6. Our responsibility

• We try to keep Library details (photos, facilities, timings) correct, but the Library is responsible for them.
• Kitabi Corner is not responsible for loss of personal belongings, injury, or disputes that happen at a Library.
• Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid to Kitabi Corner for that booking.

7. Fair use

Do not misuse the Platform — for example by making fake bookings, holding seats you do not intend to pay for, reselling seats, or trying to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do this.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the Platform after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of India. Courts in Patna, Bihar will have jurisdiction.
