Delete your account

You can delete your Kitabi Corner account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

1. Delete it yourself

• In the app: Profile → Your details → Delete my account.
• On this website: log in below and confirm.

2. Can't log in?

Write to support@kitabicorner.com from any email, with the subject “Delete my account” and the mobile number of your account. We will confirm it is you with a code on that number and delete the account within 30 days.

3. What we delete

• Your name, email, password, profile photo and home city.
• Your reviews, with their photos and videos.
• Your alerts, saved libraries, waitlist places and the phones registered for notifications.
• Your mobile number is removed from the account, so it can sign up again as a new account.

4. What we keep, and why

Indian tax and accounting laws ask us to keep records of payments. So we keep your past bookings, payments, fee receipts, refunds and check-in / check-out times for up to 8 years. After deletion these records are no longer linked to your name or mobile number. They show only as “Deleted user”.

The library you studied at may keep its own records of the fees you paid to it. Please ask the library if you want those removed.

5. Before you delete

• If your seat is still running or starts later, you can delete the account only after the plan ends. Bookings are non-refundable. See our refund policy.
• Download any receipts you need from “My payments” first.
• Deleting cannot be undone.

6. Library owners

Library owner accounts have payouts and student records linked to them, so our team closes them. Please write to support@kitabicorner.com.
